Did you know that properly timed intercourse can triple your chances of conception? Properly timing intercourse isn’t just about having a period tracker, though. It means using your body’s signs to understand what’s happening. After all, knowing when ovulation is coming up will help you understand when you should get busy. And that’s exactly what fertility awareness helps you understand!

If you’re looking to use natural family planning to avoid pregnancy, or even if you just want to use it to chart your health, I also teach people how to use fertility awareness for those intentions!

The method you’ll be learning with me is a symptothermal double-check fertility awareness method. This means that it incorporates both temperature and mucus observations, and double-checks the opening of the fertile window. I can also teach you an optional LH test (OPK) protocol, as well as guide you on how to use Proov progesterone tests, if those are things you’re interested in. Is this all foreign to you? That’s just fine!

What to Expect

I teach one-on-one classes. This allows me to personalize the teaching to exactly what you need and want to learn. If you’re local to me (northern Utah), you have the option of doing this class in person. However, it’s also available online for anyone around the world!

My full learning course (starting with little to no knowledge) includes 4-5 sessions, which mostly consist of

• understanding the hormones and parts of the menstrual cycle;
• learning how to identify, chart, and interpret biomarkers; and
• chart reviews.

I also offer independent chart reviews, or “touch up” learning (if you’ve already learned a symptothermal method, but have clarifications or want to re-learn). Each option offers ongoing email support from me for a given amount of time – usually 3-12 months.
